Dogu Arkan is a multidisciplinary artist, sound designer, and storyteller whose career bridges the worlds of music, film, and digital media. 

Dogu Arkan earned his BA in English Language and Literature from Ege University after pursuing education at Greenwich University. His fascination with literature, particularly Irish, reflects his passion for intricate postmodern narratives and contrasting themes.

Having lived in the bustling metropolises of Istanbul and London, Dogu has always sought tranquility in both mental and physical spaces. These moments of isolation have allowed him to delve deeply into the art and science of music, honing his unique ability to combine audio science, sound design, and film scoring with digital marketing and video production.

As the Co-founder and Director of BUBI Productions, Dogu has spent over 15 years creating immersive soundscapes through unreleased songs, concept albums, and original scores for animations and films. His artistic vision is shaped by a commitment to philosophical and sublime storytelling, a belief that inspired the creation of BUBI Productions as a hub for passionate creators and thought-provoking media.

In his role as Post-Production Supervisor, Dogu excels at harmonizing the creative and technical aspects of production, ensuring that every detail aligns with the artistic vision. His dedication to the compatibility between audiography and cinematography is crucial to the studio's video productions, particularly in collaborations with the London Contemporary School of Piano. Dogu’s understanding of chords, groove, and improvisation helps highlight the nuanced artistry of pianists, capturing their individuality in front of the camera.

An aficionado of early progressive rock, canonic music, and spiritual jazz, Dogu draws inspiration from timeless artworks. His work continues to redefine the relationship between sound and storytelling, offering audiences deeply resonant and transformative experiences.
